Mid-Century Inspired Bathroom

This project reimagines a family bathroom as a moody, blue, mid-century–inspired retreat. Designed with aging-in-place principles in mind, the space balances timeless aesthetics with long-term functionality. Durable, high-quality materials were selected to ensure longevity, while thoughtful planning supports accessibility and ease of use. A 32"-high vanity accommodates a range of user heights and allows for wheelchair access, and a curbless roll-in shower with a built-in bench enhances safety and comfort. The result is a bathroom that feels both elevated and adaptable—designed to serve the homeowners beautifully for years to come.
